Time flies...

Why is it that when we are young, a year takes like FOREVER to pass?

And as we get older, the year just zips by faster and faster?

The best theory I ever heard for this phenomenon is that, when we are young, a year is a HUGE percentage of your life, but as you get older a year becomes a reducing percentage of your life! For example, at the age of 2, a year is 50% of your life, but at the age of 20, a year is only 5% of your life. And, at the age of 30, it is 3.3%, when you are 40 it is 2.5%.

Sounds pretty logical, doesn't it?

Would anyone like to turn back the clock and be young again? Would you like to live forever? I know there are people who think that would be wonderful... but, for me, Nah, I don't want to live forever.

I actually don't mind getting older but it is annoying that as you get older and get to the point where you can afford to do the things you enjoy doing, the BODY starts groaning and moaning - with aches here, there, and everywhere. JUST when you can start planning to DO all the things you wanted to do when you were younger (but couldn't afford to do), THAT is when your body starts giving up on you.

And it is even worse if your mind starts giving out on you as well!

Well, all we can do is look after ourselves as well as we can - since nobody can be responsible for our health, other than ourselves - and just enjoy life to the fullest, every day, in every way.

So, folks..., go out there, and LIVE. Spend time with your loved ones, and enjoy each others company to the fullest. Do not leave your family till "later"... "Later" may never come!
